Day Seventeen – No Stupid Arguments
Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights.  A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.” 2 Timothy 23-24

What stands out to you from the verse above?

What do foolish and stupid arguments start?

What must a servant of the Lord not do?

How are you measuring up here?

List some ways you can improve.

List some things your sibling does well in regards to this verse.

Pray together and ask God to help you live this out. We can do all things in and through Him. Submit to His leading today in practicing this.

Today’s Action
Focus on stopping or walking away from arguments that are stupid or foolishness. Take the posture of someone who is kind, teachable, and patient. Help one another do this.

Parent’s Action
Help your kids identify what qualifies as stupid or foolish. They may need help in this area understanding. Most of the time they probably know but it would be helpful to give specific examples.
