Lets see my husband is leaving me for a week mission trip to Haiti on wednesday morning so I may need that coffee to get me through the 7 days with my 5 kids under 11. What a blessing that would be!! :)

For the devotional it would be used for my quiet moments that I get during that same week and I think it would be such a blessings that I could in turn share with my children!!! Jesus, my friends and my blog friends are what will get me through the next 2 weeks!!!

What a great giveaway!!!

I would take a friend to Starbucks, with out the children, and relax.
As far as the book, I would read and soak in as much as I could. Devotional books are great and always give me a blessing.

Congratulations on the new book!!! If I won, I'd have to go hunting for a Starbucks (none in our little town) but I'd read your book ASAP. Thanks for sharing!!

Hi Angela, I reached you through Adventurous Living. And signing up for the giveaway too.

The devotional is very much desired and so is the Starbucks coffe, as I 've never had one.

This is a good thing! Since I have never actually been to a Starbucks, I would find one and taste test their coffee.

However, I would leave the book at home. I like to read in private because I get distracted when people are around me. I WOULD read your book. I do like devotional books.

This morning I was reading that the children of Israel made preparation before they met with the Lord. EX. 19:10-11. God commanded them to take two full days to prepare. Hmmm.

P.S. I love the title to the book you've contributed to... Standing on the Promises. I love that old hymn and the meaning behind it :)

I haven't had time to blog-read in about 2 weeks! So happy I opened yours today!

Let's see: Starbucks gift card...ummm that's easy...Grande Non-fat white chocoate mocha no whip please.

The book: steal away to a bubble bath and read until my hearts content. Or at least until the shouts of "MOMMY!" on the other side of door become unbearable!

PS-I've missed reading your blog. Hope to get into a routine again soon!

The VERY first thing I'd do with the book (autographed, of course)is flip through and search the pages frantically for the devo's written by my good buddy, Angela. I'd devour those first. I'd probably re-read those for several days allowing their depths to sink in. Then I'd begin the other devo's, one per day. But, selfishly, I'd hang on to the book even after I'm finished because it marks the beginning stages of a budding writing ministry that I know will continue to blossom and bless. As for the Starbucks--I would pass that blessing on to a friend who could use a pick-me-up. (And trust me, that's a sacrifice as I surely do love me some Frappuccino!!) :-)

Please add my name to your awesome drawing. I'd "drink" the giftcard, and after reading your book, I'd turn around and give it away at Chrysalis.

Hugs, e-Mom :~D

I don't go to Starbucks every day like some. But after a day spent at Women's Bible study, lunch, shopping on Tuesdays, my friend Patty and I go by there, grab a cup, have a seat and chat for a while before we go our separate ways for the week.
Your book sounds like a good way to start a morning. I'd use it in my quiet time or maybe even pass it on as a gift to someone else.

Well, of course I would order a MOCHA! :-) A Grande half-caf, skim. But I would be so excited that I'd go ahead and get the whipped cream on it!

And then I would find a cozy corner and open the book and ignore the time....

Sigh.

I always say I could put my name in 9 times and another's name in once, and their's would get drawn! But it's fun to think about!

Thanks for your sweet words on my blog this morning.
