Prayer=communication with our Father. Simple isn't it. Communication is made up of speaking and listening. Hopefully in a balanced manner. Have you ever tried to have a conversation with someone where only one person did all the talking? That can be hard because that is not really communication but instead is the art of listening. God wants us to communicate. Speak and listen to Him speak. Go check them out if you have a chance today and spend time communicating with our Father who we have the privilege to call Daddy. He delights in you and wants to hear from your heart(Psalm 149:4). But most importantly He has so many things to share with you and wants to have your ear(Psalm 25:14).
