I received a free copy of this book at no charge from the publisher for the purpose of review.
This book is a sweet, easy-to-read children's book. It has very well animated pictures. For me it was an ordinary book. I liked it okay. However because it is a children's book my opinion should not matter as much as the opinion of a child right? I gave this book to my 8 year old daughter. She has clung to it ever since. She has thanked me over and over for getting this book. I asked her what she likes the best about this book? She said because it talks all about how God made her. Now that is the opinion that should matter.
It is lovely to see a child embrace a book. I do think it is a nicely done book. It is based on Psalm 139. Theologically is it the best written? No. However it is a children's book. I think it is a good teaching piece to use with your children. We don't know how God knitted us together exactly but He did. I do think it is a joy to see your child excited to see that God chose her. He loved her enough to create her and send Jesus for her (the part about Jesus is not in the book but she knows this and it all going together is exciting to her). You can get a copy at Amazon here.
