As a mother I have to juggle many different hats. I suppose if I had to record all of my titles and their job descriptions I would have one heck of a resume. The longest one possible of which all moms can understand. If anyone really saw all that we do in the trenches of life they would just fall over amazed. So to add to that long resume I finally got my best title yet. Get ready for it....
THE BUTT-WIPER.
In context, "Mom, will you be the butt-wiper today? I have diarrhea."

i am no where near motherhood or marriage, but as a seasoned babysitter and now nanny, i understand that title quite well myself. one of my closest friends is about 16 years older than me with three children that i've kept since they were tiny. i will never forget the first day i heard charlie yell from down the hall "I'M DONE..." that was my cue!

I actually have a post where I listed all my jobs...before I went to work at a hospital to calm down my life heehee.
butt-wiper wasn't on my list...but diaper changer was.....
along with jungle gym, protable milk factory, teething ring....

My children are grown now, but you still "wipe their butts"(so to speak)in different ways. I know this may be hard for you to hear this, but sometimes you wish you could go back and rock them to sleep. I know, I know, I didn't always like to hear that when mine were little.
When they were little, I knew where they were and there friends, but not now. I lean heavily on the Lord and I have to trust that I raised them right. I ask Jesus to cover the rest and continue raising them.
So kiss your babies and know the Lord loves what you are doing!
If they are big enough to say "diarrhea" shouldn't they be big enough to wipe it off by themselves??? :)
