Soul friends is a book of vignettes about life and friendships. It was not what I expected when I chose it because I thought it was a deeper book on friendship but instead it was a light hearted read which is fine just not what I originally expected. The stories are easy to read and make you think about friendships in your own life as you read the author's accounts.
The author has a way of taking a story and relating it back to life and God. This was nice. Reading it was like sitting and listening to a friend talk over coffee. The author's perspective on her friendships through life is sweet. She broke the book up to address various stages of life. It set an example for us all in our own friendships though life. Each chapter also has questions to ponder at the end.
