Hi Angela:
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
WOW...7 years with lyme is tough. I thought 2 was bad. I was not diagnosed either right away. It took 8 months from when I first started getting sick...started with chest pain and joint pain. One dr. told me it was fibromyalgia. Long story short: A Christian dr./friend of ours in our old church gave me the rx meds for lyme. within 3 weeks I was somewhat better. Ended up with a lyme disease specialist from downstate (near NYC) who didn't take insurance so we paid big $$ but...after 6 months of heavy antibiotics, praise God, I started getting better. Even drs. up here in Albany County don't want to admit it is in the area...it is very prevalent in the county just east of us.
Love the link here on your post...I have my teen daughter go to it often...it's great!!
Angela, that was SO good and what SO many girls (young AND not-so-young!) need to hear. Atta Girl!
