Book Review: Spoken For: Embracing Who You Are and Whose You Are by Gunn and Bethke

I enjoyed this title. The author's take a good look at our romance with Jesus. It is definitely a girly book but this is needed. So often it is easy to lose sight of who we really are in HIM and that He is the pursuer of our souls. He not only loves us but likes us. This book just takes you through this by looking at personal stories and Scriptural truths. It was a great reminder for me.

Each author takes turns writing a section per chapter. It is written as if you are speaking with them over coffee. It is a very easy read. It also includes questions to ponder at the back of each chapter. I envision young high school/college girls being the audience for the book. It was encouraging and pointed clearly to Christ. It is overall a good book.

I received a free copy of this book from Blogging for Books for the purpose of an honest review.
