I had one of the best Sundays ever!! Who could ask for more than great Bible teaching, Spirit filled worship, Mexican, sweet siesta fellowship, and a surprise visit by Beth Moore??!!
I am just loving this bunch of girls (mostly bloggers). It is so much fun just to hang with other lover's of Jesus. I just know Heaven will be a little like this. Praising God for this little glimpse. :)

A Prayer Challenge
Would you all take a moment and visit my siesta Melinda's blog. This commitment is one that I am not taking lightly. It is a privilege and honor that God loves for us to pray to Him. Let's join together and rock this nation. We are desperate for God. He hears those who cry out to Him. Will you join the journey?
The Baby Fat Diet - A Book Review
I just had the fabulous opportunity of reading this helpful book, The Baby Fat Diet. At first glimpse it can be misunderstood that this book only applies to moms with newborns but that is absolutely not true. I am a mom of two beautiful girls. They are 5 and 7 years old. I am still carrying some of the baby fat that I gained from this time frame of life. This book not only gives helpful information to those who just had a baby but also great information for someone like me.
Let's face it, children rock our world. Things change and shift on our bodies because of the noble cause of bringing forth life. Yet, with the proper knowledge there is a way to get back into the best health and shape that you can now be. God wants that, our family deserves it, so that is a good reason to start.
This book is about a lifestyle and includes many wonderful helpful tips and health information. Another added bonus is that it is a very easy read and set up so that you can read the chapters that apply to you for the moment. I highly recommend this book. If you are looking to getting on the proper road to health it will benefit you greatly.

Quick Update
Hey y'all! I am here and fine. Since the conference, the internet has taken a back seat. So much to catch up on and process and do. I am now finally catching up with things but mix that with crazy neurological symptoms and well, it just goes a little slower than usual. Happens to all of us as we get older, amen?!
I have so much to tell you!!! God is doing so much! So just stay tuned and thanks for being patient. Much love to you all!
On Friday I will be doing a book review so come on over and check it out.
Much love,
Angela

Winter Jam 2009
Winter Jam 2009 rocked! Chatt-town got the kick off show of the tour. To see if they are coming near you check it out here.
The concert rocked! I am amazed at how it filled the roundhouse at the UTC campus! That was impressive and about 1000 people accepted Christ as their Savior. Isn't that amazing?!
The pics are in this order from left to right. Me and my hubbie, a great pic of the some of the crowd, Newsong, Hawk Nelson, Brandon Heath, and TOBY MAC with Diverse City!!!
I started the day out with a really bad day. The word bad is an understatement really. But I am so glad we choose to go to the concert anyway. God provided great seats-right behind the stage as the pics indicate. But they were great!
I got my praise on with Newsong and it really broke up the funk. There is just something about praise and worship music and Newsong really lifted Him up.
I got my rock on with Hawk Nelson-man those guys can rock it!
I got my joy back with Brandon Heath.
I got my jam and laughter back with Toby Mac and Diverse City!!!!
It was a great blessing.

Marriage Monday
When the day is over and we are beat
All is quiet as we slip between the sheets
In that place is where there is peace
We share because the world now does cease
We laugh, we cry, we joke, we even fly
It is a place reserved a place of great joy
A place to drink up that incredible joy
A place for only husband and wife
The perfect place to share our life.
I felt like this is a combo post for sanctity, humor, and whatever else I have missed! I look forward to reading all of yours. If you want to read others go over to Chrysalis and leave a comment.

Blessing Always Follows Obedience
Isn't amazing how God lets us partner with Him in His work for the Kingdom? I am having one of those David moments where I am asking "Who am I God that you would be mindful of me?" Truth is I am nobody special. The only thing that is special in me is that I am a daughter of the most High King. I am made in His image. I am part of His family.
Yet God has so much more for us, His children. He allows us to be His ambassadors. It is amazing. I am not even sure I have the right words to describe it but I will try with my best ability. Three years ago or more God put the study Abundant Grace on my heart. I wrote it in obedience to Him. Then it just sat for all that time.
I often wondered what God meant when He had me write it. I knew it helped me know and love Him more so that was enough. Yet it still continued to haunt the back of my mind though for what other purpose was it written? Did I miss something? Was I not listening? I didn't want to miss anything God had for me to do. All I want is for His name to be famous.
Right before I visited the island of Malta God impressed on my heart to make that study a first fruits offering to Him. It was my first after all. So I readily offered it up. We started an online group for the study and it was great.
Then, God made it clear when I visited an island that I had never really paid much attention to before. Malta. Paul was shipwrecked there, other than that I did not know a thing. When I was there and got to know the people God impressed on me that the study was for them.
There is a woman there who is a mighty woman of God. A woman God has gifted with influence. God has impressed on her heart to make the study her main focus and ministry. Every place she goes she talks about the study. She is spreading the study all around the island.
The biggest breakthrough is that she took it to the head of a group who does not normally study the word of God for themselves. Tradition has taught them that it was not for the common man to study it. Tradition has taught them that it would drive them crazy because they could not understand it.
This group consists of over 10,000 people on the island. The head of this group read the study and said he liked it. It would be a good foundation to start with in studying God's Word. He is taking it to the council for their approval to spread to this group around the island. But the best part is that God impressed on His heart to start teaching the people to start studying the word of God for themselves. This is an absolutely amazing thing. More than I could even think or imagine. I stand amazed and in awe.
So would you please partner with us in prayer for this effort and group? If you are interested in praying would you please email me by clicking on the contact button above. Also, if God lays it on your heart to contribute financially to this effort or to have me as a speaker at an event please let me know. My information is on the speaking tab above. All proceeds will go toward the effort of printing this study in a more professional way and to send it to the people. No pressure at all, God is the holder of all things and will provide all we need to accomplish His work until completion.
