Book Review: I Don't Wait Anymore by Thornton
First, I have to make an appeal for judging a book by its cover. If you held this in your hands, this book is the perfect size and the cover is nice. If you picked it up you would feel how sturdy it is and it has a ribbon book mark. I love this about a book and wish they were all made like this.
Second, I really liked this book. It is written in a blog style form, making it easy to read. It is a series of stories from the author's life that leads you to the heart of God through her personal experiences. It is relatable and likeable. The book makes you want to just sit with her and have coffee while discussing the things of God. We can all learn something by letting go of our expectations and grasping instead onto what God gives us as good gifts.
Third, I know this author's sister so it was fun to read something that went along with her life as well. It was a really neat glimpse into their lives.
You can get this book from Amazon.com here.
You can also see more from this author via her blog here.
I received a copy of this book free of charge from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review.
