This is absolutely one of my favorite paintings. The artist is Sally Brestin. There is a lion and a lamb in this picture. You can hear more about it (which is fascinating) or purchase it here.
That's an incredible story with that painting. And an incredible painting, too, of course. I love that "'course he isn't safe. But he's good" phrase. Very clarifying. It would do us Christians well to remember that a little more often.
What a promise, lion and lamb. Looking forward to the day when all will be at peace with Christ's reign on earth! Interesting that Jesus is both the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Lamb of God, slain before the foundation of the world. He's our everything!
